Watermark ®  Conversions

When FileNet discontinued support for its Watermark document imaging product in the spring of 1999, it left a large installed base of clients with a difficult decision: whether to move up to FileNet's next level of imaging software (Panagon) at a very high price point, or search for an alternative product that was more in line with their budgets.

With the PaperSolve 'Watermark Conversion Utility' this need has been addressed and successfully implemented at several of our large document imaging accounts where PaperSolve has converted over 2.5 million documents containing over 8 million images.

Documents were converted and saved as standard TIF images from existing Watermark image servers, to our open standard PaperSolve Image Server solution.

The conversion utility maintained the entire Watermark file structure including keywords, annotations, document types and indexes.
